We collect the honey and filter out any contaminates before filling into pails and placing into a cellar to sit a minimum of 2 years. The Honey comes out with a deep rich flavor that has a slight crunch due to desiccating. And that makes it sweeter!
Our Honey mixed with homemade peanut butter.
We carry this recipe, unwritten, for the sake of heritage. The recipe isnt for sale, but the swirl is!
Goes undeniably good on waffles and pancakes, and works wonders on bagels, toast, or right out of the jar!
Grandpa always made this swirl spread on irrigation days. We'd go out and turn the water on, check the cows, and head back in to Grandma making waffles; he'd whip up a batch of this, and it would transform the breakfast to a meal of kings.Â
